You keep on moving

Deep Purple with friends and family perform an extended version of Hush at the conclusion of Celebrating Jon Lord event at the Royal Albert Hall on April 4:

Another video of the ‘Glenn Hughes segment‘. This one is complete and has quite a bit better sound:

Thanks to Cottrobin10 and highnumber13 for the videos.

This is all very cool but can someone explain the Paul Weller connection? I loved The Jam so it’s cool with me but I don’t know how Weller was involved with Lord.

Sure, Paul and Jon were mates. But so were Jon and Glenn for about a couple of years, want to explain what he was doing there?

I say Paul had equal reason to be there at the very least.

I really don’t understand how can Glenn sing like this in his age??!!

It doesn’t matter is this your preference or not, but HOW on Earth can he utilise his voice like this in his age…

Not much different from Gillan he was “a substance man” also – alcohol, drugs and those things… He’s singing just like on California Jam!!
