Decadent decades of reptilian fun
Whitesnake Ireland/UK tour dates have been announced. The tour will commence in May 2022 with Foreigner and Europe on the same bill. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday, July 30, 2021, from 9am. Presales, including VIP packages are already open, the password is farewell (the tour is touted as a farewell to Whitesnake). Further details in our calendar.
In other related news, David has also announced another member for his band. His name is Dino Jelusick, and he is a singer and multi-instrumentalist most recently seen touring with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It is not immediately clear what will his role be in the band, but seeing that they already have a full complement of players, our money is on singing parts that Mr. Coverdale can not (properly) do himself any more.

August 1st, 2021 at 00:59All that said, let’s give credit where credit is due: DC could have just paid the guy well and stuck him behind a curtain (as Ozzy has done when he couldn’t cut it live), but instead he is frank about it, inviting mockery. I respect that. You know what you’re getting.

August 3rd, 2021 at 17:35Coverdale probably makes more money on these package tours than playing in smaller venues with just Whitesnake as the main act, but it would have been nice to see a UK tour at 4000 capacity venues with longer sets than the package tours allow (another reason for him to lean towards playing with Foreigner and Europe because his voice probably can’t handle 90-100 mins anymore, which is a shame).
