BCC Live Over Europe details

The new Black Country Communion live DVD Live Over Europe was recorded during their summer tour and will be released on October 24 with Blu-ray to follow on November 15th. Watch the trailer:

The two-DVD live set was filmed with 14 HD cameras and 5.1 surround sound. Over three nights, playing to packed venues in the German cities of Hamburg, Munich and Berlin, the 18-song set list (17 originals plus a cover of Burn) spans both BCC albums — 2010 debut and 2011 sophomore release 2. Fans can sign up to receive as a free audio track download, available September 8. Bonus features include an exclusive 28-page collector’s booklet and DVD with a 20-minute “behind the scenes” feature and photo collection.

Producer Kevin Shirley explains:

We saw that this live act could be an awesome force of nature to behold; one that promised legendary performances like those of our heroes of Classic Rock. The plan was to get them out there for the entire world to hear. Records allow a certain musical finesse, but live performance promises so much in the very transient nature of a gig; chances are taken, boundaries are crossed and the most exciting performances explode. Two studio albums built a repertoire big enough for a full concert which allowed us to unleash the monster for all the world to see and feel.

This is a definite purchase. Saw them live and was blown away. This is ROCK at its finest folks!!!!

This is a damn good year for stocking stuffers. ‘Deep Purple- Live in Montreux 2011’, ‘The Late Great Gary Moore- Live in Montreux 2010’, and now ‘BBC- Live over Europe 2010’……..Looks like I’ll be replacing the bulb on the Big Screen in the Theater Room earlier than I thought due to heavy use this year…
    Cheers

Black Country Communion wasted no time putting a reputation together and demonstrate a commitment to the craft. I understand work is already commencing on a third album. This is the kind of work ethic a band needs in order to stay at the forefront of the public’s attention.

    Keep it coming.

A Must Buy for sure!! Now it hit me: a joint tour with Chickenfoot would be

a killer…there are similarities, yet enough differences in their

music/outings to attract a good crowd, surely a winner for both bands

& fans alike. Just a thought.
