It´s an interview witch seems to make an impression that this is the first talk between Doug and DC.

For my opinion is this a needless talk to make themselves (DC) important.

But why they do that ???

    PR -reasons ???

    D. Aldrich: “…incredibly ‘just technically’ talented” to be precise…pratically the same problem of nowdyas guitarists compared to the ’70 ones…

    I just don’t understand it!
Why on earth is Coverdale not singing the rock-blues again. Just like early Whitesnake. He can for still do it. And he loves it. STOP NOW all that screaming rock. Those years are over. Just like Gillan not singing Child in Time anymore.

To me it’s so easy to understand!

Yes, nice to hear Mistreated performed by the only vocalist to pay it justice! Although I didn’t mind Dio’s version from Rainbow’s days. As long as I don’t hear nasally Hughes whining pathetic attempts at butchering it, all is good!

    big al says:

old cov looks like joan collins. less make up fer gods sake!

    Lazy says:

In fact, Hughes’ version is great. But Glenn has some pathetic haters.

  15. 15
    MacGregor says:

Lazy@14, we hear what we hear, obviously you hear different to what I hear! Hughes isn’t a blues rock vocalist, as Coverdale is! If you think a Hughes soul influenced vocal fits, well that is your problem! Pathetic isn’t it?

    big al says:

having heard that acoustic version I reckon cov should do another unplugged cd of purple/whitesnake classics. excellent stuff.

    MortOver says:

    @ Lazy

Calling anyone pathetic? Looked in the mirror recently?

… take a stop and look at 14:34:

… behind his (D.C.) many times face-lifting, you can hear the very great and wonderful MISTREATED -voice but also you can see / you can divine, that his “face-mask” will be crumble from his neck witch let us see his dude.
He looks like 87 (without his face) and not like only 61 years (@ Sept.22nd – is that true?).

    byron says:

David please take off that tie and make this fuckin’ blues album we all know you can do!And call Ritchie(not Candice) for a track” à la BB King”
