Liberty Bells and parking lot shenanigans

Shout out to the fellow purple maniacs Nathan and John at The Deep Purple Podcast. They’ve started in 2019 and now are up to 200+ episodes. Each episode is about 2 hours of Purple-filled banter from the hardcore fans. The latest, #202 is dedicated to the recent shows in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with our humble site getting a name check. Below is the YT version, and there is a variety of audio only options available via their website.

Thanks to Rich for the heads-up.

I’m sorry, but this is a very tiresome listen. It’s like being privy to a bunch of radio hams in the 70ies following their cluttered streams of consciousness, copy that.

Ich bitte darum, mir die Informationen sauber aufbereitet, komprimiert sowie ordentlich gegliedert zur Verfügung zu stellen!

I can’t help it, it’s in my gene. Is there an executive summary?

    Over and out.

Ditto Uwe @1. I appreciate that these guys really love the band, but it seems like a stream of consciousness conversation with no clearly defined topic. I have tried that channel a couple of times but on both occasions, came away with the same impression. There is nevertheless some good potential on that channel – hopefully they will see our comments as constructive criticism. I would certainly join it if in future specific topics are discussed succinctly. Good luck to them.

I’m not into podcasts. But I might make an exception for a 30 minutes, 45 at most, one. I tried them a couple of times, but i had to fast forward a lot.

Podcast rhymes with outlast. Especially my attention span.

I enjoy listening to these guys.
Just a couple of pals talking about Deep Purple.
It’s entertainment, you know. Check them out.
