The following message has been posted on the band’s official site:
Due to three members of the band testing positive for Covid-19, we are hugely disappointed to have to share the news with everyone that we are not able to play the remaining shows aboard the Rock Legends Cruise. It’s a terrible shame ….

February 18th, 2022 at 15:40So…. the cruise mandated vaccines in order to board the ship (which is why I didn’t go). I presume that included all the bands members as well. Now there are some people testing positive and they are shut down, sequestered and quarantined for the remainder of the cruise? WTF??? This is why getting the jab is total BullShit. Everybody is vaxed on the ship and they are still scared. I’d be friggin’ pissed if I spent all that money to see Purple and they couldn’t play due to a positive test. Glad I got to see them in St. Petersburg on the 12th where the BS Vax mandate isn’t imposed.

As a scientist I am morally obligated to speak against the anti-science BS. In the USA 2.2% of Covid-related hospitalizations are fully vaccinated and boostered, and unvaccinated seniors 49 times more likely to be hospitalized than those with boosters. Unvaccinted persons are 19.4 times more likely to die than vaccinated persons from the Omicron variant in the USA. People who received three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine or a booster were 93-94% less likely to die of the infection compared to the unvaccinated. The Mayo clinic has said that unvaccinated people are”‘playing Russian roulette’ with COVID-19″ kind of like some stupid with a flare gun burned the place to the ground…
