Creamy Glenn down under

Glenn Hughes is announced as a special guest for the upcoming in late May / early June The Music of Cream tour of Australia and New Zealand. The Music of Cream is basically a Cream cover band with a twist or three — it consists of Ginger Baker’s son Kofi, Jack Bruce’s son Malcolm, and Eric Clapton’s nephew Will Jones.

    Is Glenn part of the “Music of Cream” band, or is he playing with his own band as the support act?

    I would think the latter, but the event website wasn’t clear.

    I love Glenn and I love how he is trying so hard to reach out to global audience. Makes you realise how it’s so difficult to make money and live on album sales. Rosonete is such a brilliant album and God know how many times I ve listened to that album from start to finish and he has shown how good he is on stage on his last tour in England. Can’t wait for the new BCC album.

    Should also include some BBM material where Gary Moore, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker put down some great original tunes and on tour covered the Cream Classics…. Just sayin’.
