May 26th, 2008 at 21:49Nice piece indeed… surprised more aren’t discussing this, Glenn is on a good roll right now, not just musically, he is showing a very witty and relaxed side.

I agree….One of many things I like about Glenn is his approach to life!! As an “dried out” alcoholic myself, I have adopted pretty much the same approach….That is:No more waste of time!!
May 28th, 2008 at 10:23Yeah, when you change your life like that you wanna help replace the wasted years by making sure you don’t waste anymore of them.
May 29th, 2008 at 09:07He is fearless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thought I´d never say this, but the new album F.U.N.K. is too funky….even for me! I like it,it´s O.K. but lacks some heavy basics in all funkiness!Apart from that….Glenn is the man who can do no wrong all in all!
June 2nd, 2008 at 15:06Although I do and still like to champion GH I must admit that my enthusiasm has become less.
1) The volume at the last 3 shows(tours) were to loud.
2) His excessive screaming(Espescially when combined with lots of volume)sounds more and more distorted. And 90% of it should be skipped anyway. IT’s TO MUCH!
3) I loved the perfect synthesis of rock/soul/funk/pop on the albums :
The way it is/Return of Crystal karma/Songs in the key of rock/Building the machine……
I do understand his wish to follow his heart, but…….I also think too much FUNK it has become.
4) I want to hear organ in his sound.
It’s ironic : the more happy yjey have become less I like the music : BN, DP, GH………
Well, if that’s what they need……….
I will try to find solace in earlier work. And now and then I find some treasures on new albums.
BTW, dis I already mention I like the ballads the most on FUNK?
June 6th, 2008 at 22:23Spot on priest…less brass and more organ,make that a Hammond B3!!!!
