Fan scrapbook
Some things are happening at the DeepPurple.org: there’s a new installment of Q&A with Steve Morse and they are asking fans to send memorabilia for a fan scrapbook they’re compiling:
DeepPurple.org is compiling a fan scrap book and we need your help! We want you to submit a page to be included in the scrap book.
Get together all of your Deep Purple memories- ticket stubs, photos of the band, newspaper clippings, and- most importantly- pictures of you, the fans! We’ll then put together the best pages to be included in the scrap book, which we will present to the band.
Not only that, but the person who submits the coolest page for the scrap book will win an autographed photo of the band!
Unauthorized copying, while sometimes necessary, is never as good as the real thing
The band needs to compile a scrapbook of their own…and publish it. Ian Paice needs to write a comprehensive book on the history of Deep Purple from start to finish, with the inside scoop on everything that has happened to the bad from Day One.
December 12th, 2007 at 01:29My wife has made me a fantastic Scrapbook about the band. And when I say Fantastic I mean FANTASTIC. The book spans the whole period from ’68 till now. If there’s any one out there who is interested in how it’s made please feel free to respond

I have done quite a bit myself, but only since 1970. I would love to it. At least the years of Mrk I, II, III and IV + Mrk II part 2+3.
December 14th, 2007 at 18:45That’s good. BUT!!! WE’RE LOOKING FORWARD DEEP PURPLE’S NEW STUDIO ALBUM. can’t wait. We love Rapture, we love Bananas, we love Abandon and of course we love Purpendicular BUT!!! WE NEED MORE ALBUMS TO LOVE, WE NEED NEW STUDIO ALBUM IN 2008!!!

December 17th, 2007 at 14:49The Scrap Book is complete and check out pages 12 and 23. I got in 3 pages. I had many more pictures submit, but there was very little time.
