    Bill The Wizard Pierce says:

Looks good to me! And I’m sure the title track Forevermore will be an epic track along the lines of Cryin in the Rain, A Fool in Love, Slow & Easy etc etc, the CD cover look like typical Whitesnake CD covers, good work David

Can’t wait to hear this! DC’s voice still rocks and Aldrich can write and play some really good stuff. I just hope that this time the mix will not be compressed to death…
For the artwork, it seems that there’s a serious lack of imagination… The WS logo has been over used since the 1987 album. A pity, since there’s been some nice artwork in the past: Trouble, Come An’ Get It…

    Great News and nice cover…dale..

I have a feeling this will be a stand-up offering from the Snakes.

    Looking forward to it.

    Cheers

another horrible cover…hope the music will be better…and hope they will play more dates here in Italy in 2011 than just the “Gods of Metal” planned gig…

    I guess:

9 songs full of “love” and “baby”…

    don’t you?

Sorry, but I have to say – this is a really boring artwork.

    1987 is long gone…

    Gillanfan says:

    Artwork isn’t anything special.

I’m more afraid of the sound and music on it. If it’s going to be anything like that horrible “Good to be Bad” than it’s really going to be bad !

We’ll see on which side Coverdale took the band. After all those dispatches from Tommy Aldridge, U.Duffy & Timtothy Drury, their ain’t much space for so called “band chemistry”

    Enough said. We’ll see & hear…

i agree with u nick roberto and karl… no imagination no feeling no respect for fans to try to find and exceptional cover…
anyway like david himself its a bit of deja vu!
doesn’t not have the class of big IAN …SORRY.
LONG LIVE ROCK&ROLL AND DEEP PURPLE FAMILY.

Tracy, I agree, do you all every say anything good about Coverdale? Why bother writing then, anybody can bitch and moan. I think it will be quite good, probably a little bit better than say Future Shock!! Geez only Andrea say it like it is 9 new songs is a little bit better than 0 new songs. Don’t get me wrong, I still love DP, even with Morse, but I don’t see anything new popping out of their mouths. And in the US, God to be Bad went Platinum, it might have taken a little over 2yrs to get there, but it did finally get there. Cheers

The real fact is that I am not living as I did a lot of years ago that means I am not looking foward to a new release from DP; along these long years I spent after the split of TRofTdeep I get the idea that DP has become a cover band of them selves. They remain great musicians of course but the fact they don’t go in studio for recording a new release make me think they are going to a sunshine…. The time is going on more and more…..so..The future is getting more and more shortly…this is the only one real cruel fact… About Whitesnake: whitesnake was a band,a big band with a lot of great musicians put together their alchimy…Lord Murray,Paice…now W. is just a Coverdale project and the fact I don’t know all the names of the band means that they don’t involve me to their pop music…

Yeah, I think the crack about ‘GTBB’ being no good, can only be a recourse shot concerning the ‘baby’ factor which is fair but a wise crack too. To my ears that album jams! You can knock an album after you’ve heard it, otherwise you’re just throwing the plinters it leaves from knocking unfinished wood. I reviewed the last album and although it did ware a bit, but I still feel most of the same. Good! But in concert Dave didn’t last anywhere near half the duration last time out, this is the area of major questionability. I mean it sounded to me like he blew out his larynx within the first few weeks of touring, so this time out the promoters are risking another bail out. Not that Rob Halford sounds much better, his high notes are sometimes piercing but sometimes ropey as all hell. I simply would not attend such a concert, but I would be interested in watching some playbacks, I can always adjust the volume that way.

@Tracy, one thing I can say about you is you’re no bitch, neither am I, but we sure bitch a lot about the bitching here, lol! All I hate in this world are haters, oops, if you think about that it might make me the biggest hater on the planet, ha ha ha! -nonsense!

Happy New Year everybody, anyway I can’t believe no one picked up one the Future Shock quote! I thought that was pretty funny, Since Gillanfan #9 made the quote about the horrible Good to Be Bad cd! Hey is Heyder the only one on here that has a sense of humor?

  22. 22
Tracy Heyder (aka Zero the Hero) says:

    Hey Bill,

Nothing like ‘Future Shock’. Got it. And, like a small handfull of my close friends whom don’t get my humor…..thanks also for getting it…99% of my postings contain it.

Cheers to the rest of you……HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
