    Hi David!!!!

Do you live on Mars or something?

Even I (hehehe)do know what is on that edition……

Disc 1 : Rapture of the Deep(Standard Edition with MTV….)
Disc2 : Liverenditions of Highwaystar, Smoke….., Rapture of the deep, Wrong man, plus Things I never said and that Morsey instrumental : The …….guitar(Does he really think he is the son of Mozart?)

Well, in general this the deal. Sorry if I do forget one or two tracks……

I still not own it, hehehe

Listening now to Rainbow’s “Down to Rotterdam”: Bootleg of the 1981 show in Rotterdam, Rainbow : Difficult To Cure tour, incl Bobby and JLT……

“And we believed we caught(…) the rainbow…..”

    Cheers!

To be honest, I’m not a big fan of Special editions. Maybe my hearing isn’t as good as it was but even on the 25th anniversary version of Machine Head I am still trying to hear the difference between the originals and remixes and do we really need a CD and DVD of Montreux 96? Anyone who has a copy of Come hell or High water has most of the live in Europe 93 double set anyway, the morsey instrumental was in the set on the 2002 tour so should have been included on Bananas! Anyway, you should be happy now Rainbow live in Cologne 1977 is out, now that is worth a listen. I might even part with some hard earned cash to buy this CD ,I never win competitions. No, I don’t think Morsey is any relation to Mozart, or can we expect Rock me Amadeus on the next album? And no I have never been to Mars, it just feels like it sometimes.

Believe me, that’s not the case at all! If you’re a Deep Purple fan and you don’t buy “Live in Europe, ’93”, you’re missing out. It’s actually a 4-CD set featuring two concerts in their entirety. One of those is the same NEC gig as on “CHOHW”, where they were having a bad night. The other one is from a few weeks earlier in the tour when they played in Stuttgart, Germany and they were on top form that night.
