Roger Glover at Rockline

New DVD, CD and LP
A new live DVD, double CD and triple LP called "Live Encounters" will be released on September 27. It's recorded in Katowice, Poland, June 1996.

Living Loud Release
Last month we reported that EMI International will release Living Loud original studio CD with 2 bonus live tracks ("Crazy Train" and "Good Times"), a DVD (from the Sydney show) and a package with  CD & DVD. The release date has now been set by EMI for October 6th 2004.

Morse, Rudess & Satriani
Steve Morse is guesting keyboard player Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater) upcoming album "Rhythm of Time". Steve play guitar on two tracks, "Bar Hopping With Mr. Picky" and "What Four". Also former Deep Purple guitarist Joe Satriani is guesting on one track. The album will be released on August 31. You can listen on "Bar Hopping With Mr. Picky" here (mp3) and "What Four" here (mp3). Airey, Hughes & Iommi
In January, we reported that "Tony Iommi intends on releasing what's commonly known as the "Eighth Star bootleg". The album feature Don Airey and former Deep Purple singer Glenn Hughes and was original recorded back in 1996, for what was then to be a Tony Iommi's first official solo album." 

Glenn Hughes said yesterday, "I had dinner with Tony Iommi on Sunday night. We are pleased to announce that the album which was originally bootlegged will be officially released with an extra track called "Time is the Healer". It has been re mixed and mastered. It will be out on Sanctuary this fall."

Living Loud CD & DVD
EMI International will release Living Loud original studio CD with 2 bonus live tracks ("Crazy Train" and "Good Times"), a DVD (from the Sydney show) and a package with  CD & DVD. The CD will have a new artwork, now with Don Airey on the cover. No release date is confirmed yet (late August/early September has been mention). Negotiations are in place with iTunes to release the entire live show exclusively in the coming weeks. Watch "Crazy Train", "Good Times" and "I Don't Know" from the DVD (you need Quicktime).
