Dark Blue Inc.

Ian Paice has guested on the new album Linked to Life from a band called Dark Blue Inc. The album is out on April 26, 2019 via El Puerto Records. It can be preordered via the label.

Dark Blue Inc. are:
Frank Pané (Bonfire, Sainted Sinners), Göran Edman (ex- Malmsteen), Hal Patino (ex King Diamond), Harry “Animal” Reischmann (Gregorian, Sarah Brightman), as well as Lydia Pané and Andrea Vergori.

    Don’t think it’s sh1t, Pat, just a bit dull and uninspired. But these groups are at a disadvantage: lots of product since 1978, but not a lot new or innovative, because all the hard rock tropes have already been so established that everything now sounds derivative (to me). Who can point me in the direction of a new, exciting, cutting edge blues-based group from the last 5 years? I’d love to listen, learn, read on to more and more recommendations!

    I’m no great fan of operatic Euro melodic metal, but it’s not awful and Little Ian drums it nimbly where most heavy metal drummers would have double-bassed it to death with their heavy-handed approach.
