Watched it last night. Enjoyed the chat but there wasn’t enough. Far more time (it seemed to me) spent playing music clips than talking, then there was the advertising break. Wonder if there’s a load of stuff that wasn’t shown that might get aired sometime in the future.

Vintage isn’t available on free view if you don’t have internet connection on TV device unfortunately

Was looking forward to this but rubbish. Hardly any chat and N Horne talks too much. Paicey got a tad frustrated at one point. No real talk about the various DP incarnations or the possible end of DP. In fact nothing remotely interesting at all. Doubt there was more than 10 mins chat with all the music clips and adverts.

    Waste of time.

Indeed very little chat with Ian,revealed nothing most fans don’t already know.No mention of the status of the band today.
The videos have been around awhile.
Regardless, the show’s on the Vintage TV site now.
Not truly a waste of 24 minutes, but by no means essential viewing.

I truly think it’s just only the crumbs of the main interview that was only selected for the 24 min show. I don’t think that Paciy is that awkward to interview.

Just caught up with this on the Vintage TV website, definitely a missed opportunity, a 23 minute programme but with, at most, 5 – 10 mins max of chat with Ian. Some great video of DP but we can see that anytime anywhere these days with YouTube etc. Ian has 50 years of history with DP, Whitesnake, Gary Moore and Paul McCartney among others, surely Nicky wasn’t granted just 10 mins at Ian’s house, there must be more??

And.. if only all these interviewers — around the whole planet— would give up the nonsense of the dyed black hairpiece trying to look younger and more hip — mind boggling how many of these folks don’t have a clue how obvious they are, and sad, and embarrassing — really, own your age, and therefore, your experience… and be yourself …
