Yes LRT @ 1, This is what one would term “news”, given that it would be of interest to Deep Purple Mark III and IV fans, as well as the fact that some might wish to make a contribution to a worthy charity.

I held off for good reason….

Thanks Deeperpurps @2 for expressing my point exactly,
    but without my normal sarcasm.

Yes, I was tempted to comment instantly also. The art of discipline rears it’s head again eh? I think LRT was stirring the cauldron perhaps? I could be wrong though! Cheers.

Hey Tracy and Mc Gregor.since my childhood idol,Blackmore would not be playing anytime soon(or ever) Canada,US,I bought a ticket to go and see him in Paris at Olympia Theater on July 8th.As much as I don’t like his outfit, style and music,I must see him,and check out the area where I used to live for years.I would love to share that experience in due time and maybe have some pictures as well.I will be very skeptical and maybe even angry to see the MINB playing the electrical guitar and have Candy at the front stage…..oh well I am being harsh damn it but you catch my drift lol

    cheers

    al,

You will have a great time. I have seen them twice and both time I thoroughly enjoyed it. They put on a great show. They are all great musicians and seeing them live beats any of their studio listenings. TMIB is still very capable and if in the mood shows it a bit. Depends on his hormones and time of the month….. 😉

I sure hope so dude.I am going with my brother, and he was really skeptical ,since he doesn’t subscribe to this masquerade, being an “old school” of Deep Purple and Rainbow, but I know I may never have the chance to check Blackmore ever, since he doesn’t tour that much anyway.I will wait patiently waiting for Blackmore to pull that White electrical Fender out and play some good rock’n’roll.

    cheers
