When cameras attack

Living on the road when everything is being recorded, off to the races with the little help from above, how it used to be when he was a nipper, and a new number one fan — all of this, plus more in the fifth part of the Glenn Hughes’ UK tour diary 2010:

Thanks to Yvonne Osthausen and Daniel Bengtsson for the info.

    A question:
but on this video is not the band BCC I suppose by the faces I see…and they seem louder than BCC,more interesting the guitarist: really good hard rock sound !

I am really starting to appreciate GH’s sense of humor, quite good. The drummer seems like a guy who would be the life of the party. Keep the tour diary coming, DP management, are you taking notes?

The Fleece Bristol 12th Oct 2010:

Shortly after Glenn’s arrival I asked him how his voice was holding up – He said Fine, but would have preferred to of rested it for another 24hrs.

Well, a slightly subdued Soundcheck followed, but MAN – Did he belt it out on the Night – What a trouper! Tons of RESPECT for the guy.

Soren & Pontus both said afterward that Glenn wasn’t use to this intensity of touring & that it will take a little while for him to develop the Vocal Stamina needed to blast it out Night after Night.

I have to say that I have worked for & in many bands over more years than I care to mention & never have I witness such Vocal dexterity coupled with Power & perfect pitch with such consistency – as I said to Glenn after the gig _ I’m both very pleased that I can say that I’ve seen Glenn Hughes Live & am very impressed with the man!

AndreA, yes this is NOT BBC, but I agree. This is ROCK. And that is what it should be, but give BBC some time. I hope they will make it BIG time.

Glenn Hughes had several great guitarists, Andrea.
Maybe its time for you to check up on his backcatalogue?

No berating BCC here, whether this is a good band or not, without Glenn neither would be particuilarly exciting imo. It’s his time to finally shine! Has he broken 1000 shows in his career yet? He is practically a road virgin compared to so many others his age. This is the true test of any vocalist, the road is long and can take even Glenn down, so it’s yet to be seen how he can handle extensive touring by the end of next year.

    Sami says:

Well Ghost, road-worthy or not in your opinion, GH outshines all DP-related vocalists these days with ease, excluding the late great RJD of course! That’s not to put down IG or DC etc. , but the fact remains that GH’s voice has stand the test of time better than anyone else’s, so…

Take care, fellow music lover, cheers

    AndreA says:

GH also has a better voice than many of his colleagues including THE OLDER Gillan, Coverdale, but he can not sing anymore, he lost the sweet melody HE HAD in the past, too much energy in so many songs, unuseful screams … so ever, has a good voice but not the best use, lost style .. he believes TOO AND WANTS TO END overdo it.

the music is not bad, but sometimes remind me of Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin and they are on my cock.

more than I expected at least some solo keyboard as good relative of the purple, nothing here is actually the keyboard accompaniments remind me j. p .jones: no emotions …

I was never able to listen to this CD from start to finish in a single blow … it’s tiring and boring!

    disappointed

@ 13 AndreA: Led Zeppelin on your cock…care to explain!? 🙂

that I don’t like LZ,just a blues band with a hen with golden curls at the microphone and turned into a fashionable trend…
