Gillan slightly fluffs the first line, but never mind, I'll forgive him.

>Then straight into "Maybe I'm A Leo"

I wasn't sure afterwards what the other 'extra' song was. There was "Pictures of Home", "No One Came" ,"Rat Bat Blue" . When I got home I couldn't remember what the second track was - I know them all so well. Great to here some of the other songs. I would have loved to hear 'Fools' and 'Mary Long'.

Yeah, superb. But what was it? Where is it from? I wasn't expecting to hear anything I didn't know.
But overall, brilliant. I've never enjoyed a gig so much. Steve Morse is an excellent guitarist - ok, he might never make the kind of contribution to rock history as TMIB, but as a replacement he was a good choice.
And I say that as a guitarist myself, and also a Blackmore fanatic.
I got the impression that Steve Morse felt slightly out of place, and that the rest of the band kept trying to reassure him. No suprise really, can't be easy for him stepping into Blackmore's pointy boots.
Gillan was on top form. He certainly wasn't selling us short on the screaming front - although he did struggle to be heard above 'Highway Star'.

My only regret is that I didn't get tickets for more than one gig - never mind.

Can't say I liked Pam Jam very much - all noise and no melody. Lots of repetitive drum rhythms - just goes to show how good Ian Paice is.

I counted two fights, one about 3 feet behind me, in the intro to 'Maybe I'm a Leo', (probably the one you're talking about - a great bit of soloing from SM), and one about 3 feet to the right of me in 'Woman from Tokyo' - probably featuring the same idiots.

Something I heard on my way out:

"Isn't that Ritchie Blackmore?" "No, Ritchie Blackmore's dead, isn't he?"
