Ravensburg: Unforgettable evening!

Having seen DP one week ago in Cologne, the set list was nearly the same in Ravensburg last Saturday.

The encore was extended by a breathtaking version of Speed King including some songs from the sixties, a stunning guitar-keyboard duel and s short bass solo from Roger. Stuff for a live record!

Despite the fact that the temperature in the hall was sauna-like, the band was in a really good mood, playing extensive versions of their songs. Unforgettable evening!

I was there in Ravensburg, too. Really good show andI was very surprised about Gillan´s good voice.

The set was a little bit longer than usual so I think that the band enjoyed the show as much as the fans.

I was also in Ravensburg and this Concert was absolutely excellent, especially the fine and clear rocksound and the unforgettable setlist which included one of my all time favourite “Demon’s Eye”, I never saw this live before! (I knew they change the set every night a little bit and the other songs they use sometimes were Maybe I’m a Leo, Mary Long, Kiss Tomorrow and Speed King, the latter one was surprisingly the operner for the encore)!
OMG I remember we sat around in 1973 discussing the guitar solos of “Machine Head” and “Made In Japan” and now 35 Years later we still do the same…no matter what we get out of this…
