Oh my, how I love me some cartoon Purple, their best vid ever has so far been the brilliant ‘The Surprising’ with all its little back catalog Easter eggs!

Even in February, it always makes sense to follow Slade’s shining example!

I’m a great animation film fan. I remember my kids breaking my heart one day when they were in their early teens and approached me together: “Dad, we want to talk to you about something. We’ve both decided that we don’t want to go to animation films in the cinema with you anymore. That is kiddie stuff, you have to go by yourself.” .mrgreen:

    Marcelo Soares says:

Is that the same Luke McDonnell who drew the original Suicide Squad comics in the late 80s?

    Dr. Bob says:

When I was a kid in the 70s I envisions how cool it would to make cartoons to go with our favorite rock songs. Funny how it’s taken 50 years to make it happen.

We should give credit to ole Roger here, by a stretch he was the first to combine Purple related product and animation already half a century ago …

    Yo,

    That looks pretty-good, & thank-god it’s proper animation / cartoon, & not that in-between bollox Hollyweird has dished-out the last 20-tears or so…

Perhaps this will be a catalyst / turning-point in music-history, when bands will turn into bands again, & actually be required to play at venues as entertainment, fingers crossed…

But then it takes a long time to become 1/2-decent on your musical instrument, yet alone getting-it-right within a group context…And the young folks don’t like-it unless everything happens in split-seconds on their “dumb-phones”…

    Mehhh…What’s up doc ???

    That’s all folks 🙂 !

    Peace !
