Ian Paice revives his dormant YouTube channel to talk about his upcoming appearance with the Buddy Rich Big Band. He also shows the kit he will be playing on that occasion.

Many thanks for the Ian Paice tutorial on not setting up your own drum kit, he he he. Gone were the days of having to do that until now, all good fun. Nice to see him enjoying a coffee to get the engine running. Cheers.

Of all the rock drummers who say they were influenced by Buddy Rich, Ian Paice is the one I see (hear) this influence the strongest. Especially in the early days of the band.
    Love & peace to all

I just wish they would record the show! And by the way: An Ian Paice solo album is long overdue. I had the chance to ask him about it and suggested something in the vein of Wring That Neck from the Albert Hall and he was friendly enough to say he thought about.
