So, the ‘spaghetti incident’ occurred way back in 1986… & that’s not all, because apparently Jon Lord went to Hell:

I’ll bet he enjoyed his time there!. 😈

It’d be nice if BN would do a cover.

He has “Darker Shade of Black”? The song was on the last album as well! Also, Wish you were here, I guess a 2021 version?! I mean God Bless Ritchie but cmon, it is getting ridiculous with this recycling of past songs and some so-called Renaissance poppy crap album after album. I understand he is trying to keep his wife relevant and that’s what they like to play but put some more effort into it for Pete’s sake. Cmon Ritchie nobody is expecting you to play hard rock anymore but stop with this Mickey Mouse music.

I really like some of Ritchie’s work on this new album. Most of BN’s latest is really good and Ritchie’s playing is top notch. Ya gotta remember the man is 76 yrs old. His bombastic side is compromised by age, like Ian Gillan’s voice but not nearly as bad. Ritchie can still play great, just not as fast. Gillan’s voice is is nowhere near as powerful now.

Gotta love Ritchie, but he’s sounding more and more like a character from Spinal Tap in every interview, and I’m never sure how much of that is deliberate.

Although I love RB to bits, our old mate Stevie is an alternate shade of purple genius as well…

    Good morning all
for me this last album is bad except 2 songs (second element and Der Letzte Musketier) the rest is very painful to listen to …. at the beginning of BN there was research in renaissance music but here we have the impression that he releases albums to blackmail his wife …. in short, he no longer respects his old audience because I doubt that he will make any new ones!

@7 mudas albert, you might prefer this sparkling album from RB’s son Jürgen:

Some parts of this album remind me of his father’s efforts. I gave him 10 out of 10 on this one. 🖤 👍🏻

I wish the BN albums were all instrumental.
