Flesh & Blood is #1 in Japan

Whitesnake Flesh & Blood in Japanese chart

On May 10, the day of its release, the new Whitesnake album Flesh & Blood landed on the #1 spot on the ORICON Daily Album Ranking in Japan. This is the general chart for all genres, not just “overseas music” or rock albums. It slipped down to #6 on May 11.

    Well done Whitesnake! & rightly so, I’ve had a listen to the album now & I reckon it’s pretty good. I accept this album for what it is in this day & age.

    Screw gangsta rap & screw modern “R n’ B”. Flesh & Blood is full of rocks & it rolls, baby!.

    Now pass me that bottle of bourbon & a clean glass, I’m about to turn the stereo volume waaaay up. 😎

    Whether you like it or not sexy videos makes people go out and buy it. Having said that I did try shut up and kiss me phrase on my wife and I sended sleeping in the other room. Guys don’t try this at home!!!

    Deservedly so, its a fantastic LP. Key are the songs, 8 top quality compositions ….snd the other 5 ain’t too shabby either (to quote our glorious leader) :)!

    Congratulations WS. Hope they will add DK to the World Tour. Had a listen and did not really do it for me though, perhaps I need to listen a few more times as with most good music.

    Based on 1 full listen, I will likely play Flesh & Blood more often than Slip Of The Tongue,Good To Be Bad,& Forevermore combined. DC really needs to get past the,creepy “…Feel your body heat..” lyrics and heavy breathing,though.

    And if you notice too the Japanese version of the album has 3 extra tracks making it 16! Now that is what you call a bonus. UK version 13.
