Hi,
This is a message to Roger Glover from Pierre Bronchain
Dear Roger,
We met in London in 1976, When I came to promote the film “The Butterfly Ball ” of which you composed the music. The public relation of Anthony Klinger put us in touch and we had dinner with your wife first in London and then in a cute restaurant overlooking the Thames river in Eton. Debbie Kuhl your sister in law was there
and we connected quite nicely for a short while. I visited your house, having a date with Debbie, coming back from Tintagel castle, and while I was at your house
the boot of my car, a blue Toyota Celica, caught on fire
because of stones picked up in Merlin’s cave rubbing each other in a towel, the whole thing causing a small commotion in your place. At the time I had just come back from South africa, and was distributing ” The Butterfly Ball ” in the Benelux.
The last time we communicated together was when you advised me of the birth of your daughter, your first I think, with a beautiful and humoristic card with you and your wife in a stable in front of the cradle, you dressed as a beduin and your wife as an oriental princess.
I live now in Corsica where I have 5 children with my Corsican wife Marie-jeanne. I do organic farming but I am still in music as I perform as Electro DJ,with my son Seymour,also DJ.
Knowing that you are coming to Corsica in Patrimonio on 22nd July, I of course wanted to come and see your concert but all the seats are sold out. Is there any way you could push for us to have a few seats? We are willing to pay for them naturally.
We could also organize a party with the best local DJs for after the show in case you have nothing hot yet prepared for you.
I hope you get this message and that I will have the opportunity to welcome you in Corsica and return to you
the warmth and good vibes with which you received me in your big mansion in Buckinghamshire
