A couple of years ago Ian Gillan spoke to A Breath of Fresh Air podcast. The interview was posted in March 2024 and until now stayed under our radar. It appears that it was done in the anticipation of the Australian tour that never happened.

    Well Karin, I don’t think Anton will be letting Ian Gillan into your abode at anytime. Stealing dog biscuits, well well well, lock up your doggies food everybody. Cheers.

    We can see Ian sitting inside at Karin’s home enjoying a nice cup of TEA. Karin places a few nice biscuits and a slice of cake on a tray. Meanwhile Ian is staring down at Anton’s food bowl full of dog biscuits and Anton is staring up at Ian thinking, ‘if he touches my food, I’m gonna kill him’. The drama of it all, all the tension. Someone should write a song about it. Maybe Ian will. Hang on he already has. Mad Dog from THOBL. Cheers.
