The fifth (and final) album in the Bernie Marsden’s Inspirations series is due out on August 21, 2026, via Conquest Music. It is a live album, aptly titled Stage, and it includes recordings from 4 different dates.

    I ordered already. I recommend a visit on Bernie’s site…some great stuff there that might soon run out of stock. It’s still a mystery to me why some of his work – Stax or Big Boy Blue – did not get more attention. Just very good albums and well worth a listen if you like your blues, r’n’b, r’n’r with a feeling and more than a touch of soul. Great man he was. And a very lovely chap too as Tillythemax and me were lucky enough to find out.

    Bernie always had a naturally pleasant voice when singing anything.

    Quite unlike other late guitar luminaries with some Purple Family connections who have sung “Walking By Myself” in the past, names of course escape me. 😇
