In this day and age, surely ‘conspiracy theories’ relating to musicians who cross over between bands and whose musical genres may be perceived to differ is completely redundant! Given the continuing outstanding output that we are able to hear, why would anyone even ask this question? ‘Whoosh!’ was meant to be released much earlier this year prior to a DP tour which has been cancelled and pushed way forward into 2021. The release date for the ‘Flying Colors’ DVD may well have been this/next month. So, how on earth would anyone, even with the clearest crystal ball, know what was what, what was to be when and, in all reality, what is the reality now! I am fairly confident that I don’t know given the ‘ups and downs’ of the Covid-19 pandemic. Still, let’s all rest back and accept that ‘Whoosh!’ is an exceptional piece of work (recorded some 18 months ago) and that anything that ‘Flying Colors’ do is equally brilliant!
