Well, he seems to be earning money with it! Fine, it’s as close as you can still get to the Mk III experience.

I just learned that this one guy from that other band … Jimmy who? … preferred Mk III to Mk II, he liked the more dominant black music content. Horses for courses. There is a place for everyone in the magic Purple realm.

Jon Lord was spot on with his idea of calling the band ‘Round About’ initially instead of settling on the name DP
His idea of having a band whose members joins in and opt out is materialising as the history, present and the future of band unfolds.

Did Jon come up with the name ‘Roundabaout’, Adel? I always assumed it was Chris Curtis, you live and learn.

‘Aggravation’ was btw written by Joe South.

Very true ! One wonders if in time people, who were never part of the original incarnation will keep the flag flying ?…

No-doubt spin-off-bands & tours like what GH is doing will keep going on.

    Peace !

I have real issues with someone other than Big Ian singing his lyrics. That would be an irretrievable loss for me.

I completely understand my friend…One wonders why Glenn Hughes is singing Highway Star in his set-list…

    Peace !
