Glenn is a little difficult to understand due to the poor sound quality, but it’s always interesting to hear him talk. He comes in at about the 37-minute mark. You might want to skip through all the juvenile expletives and carryings-on of the hosts and get straight to Glenn.

Despite those misgivings, the host is at least knowledgeable about Glenn’s career and asks intelligent questions, although there is nothing new here for Hughes fans.

Much of the discussion revolves around the excellent “Music for the Divine.” Be sure to get the version with the “Nights in White Satin” bonus track. “Fused” with Tony Iommi is also mentioned and a must-have, although “Addiction” remains Glenn’s best solo effort.

Kudos to Glenn for all the outstanding work of late. His attitude has improved so much since Mark III…sure would like to see him do something with Blackmore.

    That’ll never happen.
