Nürnberg 1976 on vinyl

Rainbow, Live in Nürnberg 1976, recorded at the Nürnberg Messezentrum Halle on September 28, 1976, will be released on vinyl on August 28, 2026. This is the first time this show will be available in analog format, and it completes the vinyl trifecta of Rainbow 1976 live releases: Köln/Cologne was released for the Record Store Day earlier this year, and Düsseldorf is due out on June 26.

First time ever vinyl release for this incredible live concert from Rainbow’s debut world tour and documenting one of the band’s first ever shows in Europe, at Nurnberg Messezentrum Halle on 28th September 1976. Newly Mastered by Andy Pearce & Matt Wortham and released on 28th August 2026.
