    Lovely!

    I visited Baalbeck ruins a few years ago, they are impressive. The roman temple, when complete, was higher that the highest building in modern-day Beirut, and it only collapsed after soldiers (in the Middle Ages) extracted the lead which had been added in to the interstices, so that it could withstand earthquakes.

    Deep Purple are impressive also.. but most readers of THS are already convinced, so I do not need to urge you to go see them – but believe me, a trip to Baalbeck is really worthwhile
