Glenn Hughes appearances

Glenn Hughes will be interviewed on KNAC.com today, Monday, January 29 at 4:00 p.m. PST. There will be a live chat room set up where fans can log in and ask questions directly. More info: http://www.knac.com/article.asp?ArticleID=5253

He will also appear at a private event at the Hollywood based Musicians Institute. Glenn will play a couple of solo songs, answer some interview style questions about his musical beginnings, collaborations/bands, song writing process and his current work, and answer some questions from the students. This is NOT a clinic, but a chance for Glenn to discuss his success in music and to perform his songs for a young audience of aspiring musicians. This event is free to all Musicians Institute students, and only Musicians Institute students can attend. This is not a public show. It will take place on Thursday, February 15 at 4:00 p.m. PST.

Thanks to Mike Garrett and Blabbermouth.net for the info.

[…] As we announced earlier, Glenn Hughes has appeared at the Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles on February 15. Here’s a brief report from the Institute’s graduate and teacher Christopher Maloney: Glenn Hughes was one of the most entertaining and enlightening performers we’ve ever had at the Musicians Institute. His vocal and musical talents are well obvious, but it was his charm, frankness and sincerity that really came across to his audience, who rewarded him with a huge standing ovation (a rarity for ’school events’). Most impressed were the faculty members who were in attendance, many of whom cancelled their classes and required their students to attend the Glenn Hughes event. The faculty knew the importance of their students hearing someone of Glenn’s status, experience and talent. In fact, the instructors were just as blown away by Glenn as the students were. Overall, it was an amazing event, and we would have Glenn come back anytime. […]
