It’s absolutely fine to be nuts
The band has broken the lull in public appearances by speaking to Brazil’s 89FM A Radio Rock. Enjoy some out of the left field questions and equally quirky answers.
Hint: due to less than stellar sound quality from the band’s side, you might want to turn closed captions on. Speech recognition got surprisingly good in recent years.
Thanks to Blabbermouth for the heads-up.
(retracting dropped jaw …) I think I would have given HER any answer SHE had wanted me to … Don’t remember much of the interview, but the overall experience was nice.
While the remnants of my hormones settle (don’t read any further, Steve, it’s another one of those self-important anecdotes of mine), I am reminded of a business stay in Rio de Janeiro some thirty years ago. We had an arbitration there and had enlisted the help of a a very well-reputed, large and successful Brazilian law firm as local counsel. We were a quite a bit early, so we waited first in the lavish lobby and then in a likewise spectacular meeting room for our appointment with Luiz, one of the senior partners. And while we sat there, I swear one drop-dead-gorgeous Brazilian beauty after another in the guise of a secretary or legal assistant paraded by us or asked us whether we would like to have anything (we couldn’t give an honest answer to that …). The case faded from our minds as we drooled through a daydream …
Then we got to meet Luiz and me (told you not to continue reading, Steve!) always being the courageous kind could not help but ask him where all these beautiful women came from? And without batting an eyelid, Luiz nonchalantly said:
“Oh, they’re all handpicked, but they generally don’t stay for very long with us. After two or three years they marry one of our young attorney associates, start a family and buy a house. That is good for everyone involved: The girls do their climb up the social ladder, our young attorneys don’t waste time on weekends and meet nice girls who see them working hard from day one. That manages expectations and they will become content, always understanding (for the workload of their husband) wives. Content wives make for happy marriages and happy marriages are stable marriages which in turn are good for the firm.”
We were flabbergasted at so much deep Brazilian philosophical insight being offered to us. You learn something on every assignment. 😎
May 10th, 2025 at 04:25Well, music is still our everything!
I would definitely also bring my goat to a concert with Purple 😆
May 10th, 2025 at 08:48In the more rural regions of Jylland, where close human proximity to livestock is a way of life, that would certainly mean straight from the bedroom then into the concert crowd, no?
The poor, anguished animals. 🙄

I was just commenting on Ian’s words about people bringing goats to the concerts!
I don’t own a goat, to make it perfectly clear 😂😂
May 10th, 2025 at 14:00Admins, where did my Brazilian law firm experience go?
This thread shouldn’t be all about goats. ☝️😎
May 10th, 2025 at 15:22My Dog always wanted to go to a DP concert. His favorite DP song is “BoneBringer”! His all time favorite song is Rainbow’s “Long Live Sausage Rolls”! 🙂

That puzzles me, don’t you need one for your pagan rituals? 🐐😈
