Rising again

Darker Than Blue reports that Ritchie Blackmore has been booked to appear on UK radio station Planet Rock on Sunday, October 11, 2026, between 5 and 6pm. The show is called The Longer Player with Mark Jeeves, and his appearance will be on occasion of the 50th anniversary of Rainbow Rising.

One can listen to Planet Rock live online, as well as access last few episodes of the show, but have to provide a UK postal code and an email address to register. Little birdie tells us that any valid postal code (e.g. SW1A 1AA) works fine, and another little birdie chips in that disposable emails work just fine too. You are welcome.
