Thanks to Amit, Tobias, and Volodymyr for the heads-up.
That’s a big news. Kate Bush and Metallica stormed the USA/World charts when their tracks were featured in the episodes of Stranger Things. Now it’s time for Deep Purple — without any exaggeration, the band has a long-awaited chance of re-producing the global hit single and putting their public image and popularity especially back to the USA market, just if the current management captures the momentum and uses the modern social media tools to do so. I hope they will. Deep Purple deserves to return back to the heights where they always belonged to.
A hint: release the newly edited single Child in Time by the time Stranger Things episode is released, promote it properly and wait what happens.

July 17th, 2025 at 03:42Way to go!
July 17th, 2025 at 04:48Child of Time indeed!
I would prefer something less horror when it comes to films-series or whatever!
July 17th, 2025 at 05:31Why not let Purple deliver the music to a nice romantic musical like ‘Pride and Prejudice’ – where Ian can sing the part of Mr Darcy 😃
Wow – Child in Time has always been epic but this – this is epic-er!!
July 17th, 2025 at 11:08Well edited bit me thinks that the closing credit of the trailer would have been better with the end of child in time I.e Ritchie’s violining.
July 17th, 2025 at 14:55You‘re a Jane Austen fan, Karin, I knew it!
