Joe Lynn Turner continues his tour of Russia. Here’s a brief report and pictures that we received from the Russian DP website:

Last week Joe Lynn Turner was in my city, Ivanovo. Backing band was Moscow’s group called “Green Town”. Absolutely amazing performance. Joe’s form impressed me much – fantastic voice condition, great set-list and storming audience. Surprisingly perfect show. One day before I met him on press promo event – very polite and open guy with great sense of humor.

Set list, Ivanovo, Russia, Feb 14 2007:

Street Of Dreams
Stone Cold
Death Alley Driver
Spotlight Kid
Jealous Lover
Can’t Happen Here
King Of Dreams
Power
Can’t Let You Go

Ummm me thinks the Russian fans would probably get more hyped up if JLT opened with Death Alley Driver instead of Street of Dreams…..just a thought.

    I think singing 5 from last 6 songs is a mistake :/

I agree with Rob. Joe has sung a lot of great songs himself (e.g. “Wicked Ways” or “Midtown Tunnel Vision” or “Desperate Heart” or “Eyes Of Fire” or some HTP or Malmsteen Songs or even some fine Fandango Songs.

Why does he sing Gillan/Bonnet/Coverdale/Sio Songs as encore.

    there’s no need to…

I would have loved to see JLT live.
