    What other white singer in the mid 50’s could have cut anything like Heartbreak Hotel, it has everything.

    Crosby, Sinatra, Bennet plus many more singing great ballads with a poular swing, Bill rockin’ around the clock, but only one Elvis. I don’t think he lost it in the early 60’s though, some of his ballads up to the time of his death where still full of emotion and feeling. Then again some where just crap i’m sure instigated by Tom Parker.
