Wife goes technicolour, husband goes Purple

Just bought it yesterday when the wife was at Disneyland so I was able to watch it in grand style! (Six pack and maximum volume!)

I was afraid that this DVD would not measure up to the Australia '99 concert (it being so incredible!) but I was totally blown away. I was very impressed with the DTS 5.1 surround soundtrack. Excellent mix, great energy from the band. Deep Purple just keeps on satisfying!

The band interviews and behind the scenes footage are great. The packaging is very nice also.

I was sad that there were no songs from the incredible Abandon album and only two from Purpendicular but I thoroughly enjoyed the DVD through and through.

Money well spent!
