Since 1969 - a real treat

What a great gig last night! From someone who saw Deep Purple in Cornwall in 1969. They have used all the technology of the 21st century with sound and lighting to enhance their outstanding musicianship. I could go on and on. But anyone yet to catch them is in for a real treat.

I know Don's work from his stint with Tull. But Jon joining them on stage was tremendous. All the band were in fine form Ian, Roger and Steve at one point actually playing in the crowd not just to them!

Just to finish, what about the guitar solo? Bits of Byrds, Beatles, Skynyrd, Hendrix and Zep before launching into Smoke On The Water.

Brilliant lads. Love the band, great site.

Greg Peters, a contented 49-year-old
