This boxset is brilliant and the soundquality really great.

But more importantly, it seems to me that the intepretation is more
effective and innovative. All the concerts show us great performances and some really rare recordings. And Ronnie James Dio... he should make more music like this.

I saw Purple in Bonn 2001 and after the show we had the opportunity to go aboard a boat on the Rhine to celebrate Ian's birthday party. Great.

The concert interpretation at Bonn was quite equal to the soundboard series songs from Melbourne, even the solos were more or less the same - but great.
