The Highway Star

Deep Purple - Toronto, Nov. 20, 1996

Incredible

Holy Shit. I saw Deep Purple last night at the Warehouse in Toronto for the first time and let me say I was blow away. I had the best seat in the house. Right up front against the beracade dead center. I was in an arms reach of Ian Gillan which the way sang Briliantly. The band was briliant. I even caught one of Ian Paice's Drum Sticks that he threw into the crowd. But the biggest highlight for me was briefly meeting Ian Paice outside after the show. That made my night. He shook my hand and signed my CD cover of Purpendicular. It was a night I will Forget.

DEEP PURPLE ARE BACK.
