This is interesting. Milky is from Lund, Sweden and plays a kind of blusey 70's hardrock. At least they did that the last time I heard them. I was doing the sound at Mejeriet in Lund (brilliant venue, BTW) and it must have been one of their first gigs. They were quite good but unexperienced on stage.
The last two years they have been recording a CD which should have been released a long time ago but is postponed all the time for some reason. Our local music journalist Hakan Engstrom (He wrote a good review of In Rock that was posted here some time ago) hyped them for a while in our local morningpaper but I guess he got tired of waiting for an album which never got out...
Now to the interesting twist:
Milky's album is to be released on the record label POLAR. Yes, the very
same label that ABBA, Rickie's favorite popsters were on. TMIB is getting
closer to ABBA every day. When he is in Copenhagen next week he should
pop over here and check out Björn and Benny's new musical which premieres
in our town on the fourth of october... :^) Say what you want about TMIB,
but he has good timing! :^)
Cheers!
