On to the heart of Swabia. I think any CD of this gig should be called "Swabian Nights" ha ha. This was a rather large venue and was sold out. Milky soured again. For Rainbow the crowd was really hot but the concert I found didn't have the same intensity as the night before, with only a few extended solos (although the out-tro solo on Hunting Humans was excellent)) and no Rainbow Eyes. Interesting enough, Doogie leads a sing a long during LLRnR where he has half the crowd doing "LLRnR" and the other half doing the melody from "Black Night". During Smoke on the Water, RITCHIE SPEAKS!! Yes RB goes over to the mic like he did in Hannover and introduces Doogie. RB is all smiles. He definitely is having a good time on this tour. The band and tour bus were deep within the Congresszentrum compound and could not be accessed. The Swabes I spoke with in the bar after the show seemed to have absolutely loved the show compared to the show in 1993 they saw with Purple. Temple of the King seems to have been the top song of the night.
