Cuyahoga Falls, OH Review

Well, it's 03:20 am, and I just got back from the DP in Cuyahoga Falls, OH (I live in Corry, PA).

My overall review: This was the concert that everbody who goes to a DP concert hopes to see!

Now, some details: Each one was runnin' high octane tonite - these boys were in the pocket. Ian's voice was kickin', and he was enjoyin' it (and so were we). The Steve/Jon/Ian duets were totally felt as usual. Roger & Ian (i.e., the rhythm section) couldn't be "beat" - solid as rock yet still maintained the ever so crucial "essense de raw jam".

One other aspect that was excellent was the house sound - man! It was an extra dry martini, shaken, not stirred (it's late; gimme a break)). Moray had the mix completely blended. There were no level battles going on; everyone was heard - oh yeah, even Jon (what a sound!). And the overall volume was tight. You felt it in your chest, gut, and whole body, but it didn't blow out your ears - great job! Oh yeah, mine are ringin', but not bleedin'.

Thanks gents for makin' my first DP concert in 25 years last a life time!

Cheers,
Trent Argante
