[ d e e p P u r . p l e ) The Highway Star

Concertreview Deep Purple at Ahoy Rotterdam Netherlands Oct. 12, 1998

Support act Saxon played from 20.00 until 20.55. They didn't impress me. Why didn't we have Emerson, Lake and Palmer and Dream Theater as during the American leg of the tour?!

At 21.17 Deep Purple entered the stage with an AMAZING ABANDON CONCERT. They where playing with lots of enthousiasm. Ian was singing and screaming the whole concert. Steve played lots of solos just like Jon. Ian was thundering on his drums. Roger did some solid bassplaying.
