They were phenomenal!
I just had to write this review after the amazing show that DP put together at the Woodlands Pavillion.
In my opinion, they should have been the headliners of the tour - all the other bands (with the exception of Nazareth) sounded bland in comparison. I was half asleep during Ted Nugent and Cheap Trick, and on Lynyrd Skynyrd I left after the second song - they were just ruining the moment for me after Purple.
Great musicianship - everybody, wonderful guitar performance by Steve Morse - his guitar playing is truly inspirational. After playing guitar for 15 years I think I need another 15 to get to be as good as he is.
Thank you guys for a wonderful experience and I hope to see you in Houston next time you come on tour.
