Deep Purple concert in Thessaloniki (12/4)
Greetings from Greece!
Once again Deep Purple gave an excellent performance! The setlist was almost identical to the setlist of the Russian concert. The show started with a minimal delay of ten minutes, since there was only one door and not all ticket holders (7.500) were able to get in on time. It is worth noting that that was the first time DP performed in Thessaloniki and all the tickets were sold almost 10 days before the show. There was only one problem: ventilation. Heat was very intense and rumor has it that sometimes Ian Gillan almost couldn't breathe.
Anyway it was a fantastic show and all the band members seemed to be enjoying very much the participation of the crowd.
We are certainly looking forward to seeing the band perform again in Thessaloniki.
A great THANKS to all who made this show possible!
