Paice & York reviews

Stage lowered high expectations

Pete York and Ian Paice or Ian Paice and Pete York... What a constellation. The announcements suggested a great event, musically. However, the event at the "Altes
Schuetzenhaus" could not fulfill the hopes in the organisations department. The stage was so low that only people standing in first or second row could see the two outstanding drummers in action. The rest could listen - but what is a concert without seeing the band?

I am sure Ian, Pete, Colin and Miller had a good time themselves but the audience was not able to. I wished they'd brought Eddie Hardin to play keyboards. "Gimme Some Lovin'" without an organ sound is not "Gimme Some Lovin'".

The question and answer-time was very good! I hope they will be playing on other stages in the future that are more audience friendly.

Keep on rockin'
