Subject: Deep Purple in Zwolle

It was about 17.15 when I arrived at the Ijselhal in Zwolle. I met Colin Hart and Roger Glover around that time inside of the Ijselhal, they just had finished their soundcheck. The concert hall where they were playing was kind of smelly because it normally is used as a market place for all kinds of animals. Roger told me that maybe (he is thinking about it) the rpm lable will release an album with all kinds of solo stuff that he recorded but never released.

Around 20.00 the support act whose name I do not remember started playing and I have to admit that they sounded very good. At 21.10 Purple took the stage and started of with Fireball. They played the same set like they did in Cologne except Hey Cisco which was not part of the encores.

It was a great show, even a friend of mine who has never heard a purple song in his life and only got interested in the band because Steve became part of it had the night of his life. He did not know one tune before the show but he just could not stand still during the show. It was party time. I hope to see all of you in Belguim for another great Deep Purple show.
