Last night I saw Deep Purple for the fifth time at Osaka Festival Hall. They opened up with Fireball. They played many songs off the new album. Old tunes done included "Pictures of Home" "No, No, No", "When a blind man cries", "Speedking" "Black Night", "Smoke on the Water" and of course "Highway Star" Ian Gillian, while slightly on the chunky side, sounded great and was very active. The sound was excellent and they played altogeter for 2 hrs 15 min.
