I dont know if this gig was sold out, but the venue was definitely packed! More than 12.000 people! Goiânia does not have many intenational concerts. The tickets were very cheap and there were no ways of missing this happening! There was three generations there, sons, fathers and grandfathers!
I will go to Rio, Curitiba and São Paulo, but I was not there in Goiânia (too far and expensive bus ticket), because I am unemployed, doing some temporary jobs and didn't receive the money I was expecting last Wednesday. I am writing because I am recieving many emails of friends from that region and others. I know people who travelled 1.700km to see DP!
So... I can say it was a fantastic night. Don played the Goiás Football Club and the Brazilian national anthems.
Deep Purple got national coverage!
